• 5 March 2010  -  Companies House

  Please be informed that Companies House has recently changed their requirements for the Personal Identification information that you enter for each officer on incorporation. If you choose to use the Passport number as one of the Personal Identification information, you are now required to enter the last 3 numeric numbers of the Passport. Please see example below: If passport number ends 025468ND8, Companies House require you to ignore the letters ND and enter 688, these being the last 3 numeric numbers. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office.

  Please be informed that there will be a national industrial strike action taken by Civil servants on Monday 8th March and Tuesday 9th March 2010. Companies House will be working with minimum staff due to this. Company Incorporations and additional services can still be submitted as normal, however, there maybe delays over the 2 day period. • 25 February 2010  -  COMPANIES HOUSE UPDATE

  We have received a further update from Companies House. They have rectified the problems they were experiencing with the incorporations and sending out the correct responses. However, due to the volume of incorporations affected there will be a delay in receiving some incorporation documents.

• 22 February 2010  -  Companies House

  We have received a further update from Companies House. They are still experiencing problems with the incorporations and sending out the correct responses. Submitted incorporations will be shown in the Rejected folder. Please do not resubmit these companies as they are awaiting incorporation at Companies House. We will provide you with a further update as soon as possible.

• 9 November 2009  -  Companies House Update

  Companies House are currently experiencing performance problems which may cause a delay with Incorporations. Due to these problems Companies House are currently experencing, our Name Check service may also be effected.

• 23 October 2009  -  Royal Mail

  Please be advised that Royal Mail services will be disrupted due to Strike action over the forth coming week. Please note that any Mail being received or despatched from our office may be delayed. The strike action is currently effecting the whole of the UK, and therefore delays with Mail services could be possible.

• 15 October 2009  -  Companies House

  Please be aware Companies House are still experiencing a high volume of companies. There will be delays on receiving the incorporation documents from Companies House. Sameday incorporations are flowing to the front as they should. However, please be aware the sameday service is not guaranteed. Thank you for your patience.

• 13 October 2009  -  Companies House Update

  We have received a further up date from Companies House regarding Incorporations. Companies House still has a large backlog of companies in which the examination teams have been working throughout the day to process. All of the same day requests are flowing to the front of the queues as they should. We will provide a further update as soon as possible. Thank you for your patients.

• 9 October 2009  -  Companies House Update

  Please be informed we have received a further update from Companies House. They are currently experiencing problems with Incorporation Certificates. This may cause a delay in receiving your company documents. We will update the news when we have more information from Companies House. Thank you for your patience.

• 7 October 2009  -  Companies House Further Update 7th October

  Please be informed Companies House have informed us that they have resolved the problems they were experiencing earlier today. They do however still have a back log of companies so please expect some delays on receiving your company incorporations. Thank you for your patience.

• 25 September 2009  -  Companies Act Changes

  The final Companies Act changes will be coming into force on the 1st October 2009 and also Companies House are implementing new systems. Unfortunately, Incorporations and Secretarial Services may not be ordered from 12.00 GMT on the 30th September 2009. All services will be back on line at 09.00 GMT on 5th October 2009. Companies House will also be closed from 17:00 30th September 2009 until 09.00 GMT on 5th October 2009. We recommend that all Incorporations or Forms are filed as soon as possible on the 29th September 2009 or at the latest in the morning of 30th September 2009. Other Services like Apostilles and Offshore Incorporations can still be ordered as normal. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. • 19 August 2009  -  Royal Mail

  Please be advised a Royal Mail Strike is taking place today in the UK. Please note that any Mail being received at our office and being dispatched from our office may be delayed. The strike is currently taking place in our county, and therefore delays with Mail could be possible.

• 17 August 2009  -  Companies House

  Please be advised Companies House is experiencing a few technical problems. This may cause delays with Incorporations. You may also receive replacement certificates due to these technical problems. We will provide a further update once Companies House has rectified the problem.

• 4 August 2009  -  Companies House

  Please be advised that yesterday Companies House were experiencing problems. Due to these problems Companies House now have a back log of comapnies. Company Incorporations may be delayed.

• 16 April 2009  -  Apostille

  We have recently been informed that the Foreign Office have increased their fees for the Apostilling of Documents from 9th April 2009. Due to these changes at the Foreign Office, unfortunately we will have to increase our charge by 1.00GBP for all Apostille orders. As of the 20th April 2009 our charges for all Apostille orders will be increased by 1.00GBP

• 9 April 2009  -  Easter Holidays

  During the Easter Bank Holiday period our offices will be closed for email, telephone and fax support from Thursday 09th April at 17.00 and re-open on Tuesday 14th April at 09.00. Electronic Incorporations and orders may still be submitted, via our website, at any time, and they will be submitted to Companies House as normal, via our electronic systems. Companies House will process the applications as soon as they re-open on Tuesday 14th April. • 3 February 2009  -  Emails

  Please be aware that CFS were experiencing problems with external emails. However, this has now been rectified and will be back up and running within the hour. Incorporation documents will be sent out upon receipt from Companies House. Sorry for any invonvience caused.

  Delays may occur when receiving documents or acceptances from Companies House, as they are experiencing a few technical problems.

• 16 January 2009  -  BVI - Limited Offer

  Here at CFS we check our prices and services on a regular basis so we are able to offer the best up to date services at the best rate to you. As a result of this for a limited time only, we are able to offer the Incorporation of a BVI company to include Notarised and Apostilled company documents. Our price for a BVI Incorporation is £687.50 plus vat with a Special Offer to include Notarisation and Apostille of company documents.   From the 1st December 2008, the UK Government have announced that the new rate of VAT will be charged at 15%.

• 30 September 2008  -  CFS Fax Line

  I can now advise that BT have found the fault in our fax lines and they are now available to use. You can fax any required information to us as usual. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Although processing of electronic incorporations is being undertaken within the normal timescales, Companies House are experiencing some delays with sending the Certificates of Incorporation out by email.

• 26 September 2007  -  Realex

  We have now transferred from Worldpay to Realex for all credit/debit card transactions taken via our website.

• 25 September 2007  -  Account Limit Email

  Customers with a cfs account may now receive an email when low on credit to remind them to top up their balance. To set this please go to the `Settings` menu and select `Miscellaneous Settings`. Here you can change the drop down box to show `Yes` you would like to receive a reminder email and type in the amount of your balance from when you would like to receive the reminder.

• 25 September 2007  -  Memorandum Manager

  If you have your own memorandum and articles on our system you may still select CFS`s. New rules regarding Table A come into effect as of October 1st. Our Memorandum and Articles is fully compliant. Check the Memorandum Manager under settings.

  When entering other directorships for a company director, you may now specify a company number (though it is not compulsory).

  Please use our *FREE* company name availability check as it will reduce the chance of your company being rejected.

  CFS is proud to have a very low rate of companies being rejected (much lower than average).

  You are now able to submit annual returns directly from our website. Please see the `Secretarial Services` option on the left menu.

  If you were familiar with our old site you may note that you do not have to be logged in to start entering company details any longer (though we recommend it). You will be asked to login when going to your shopping basket.

•   -  Secretarial Services

  We have improved our Secretarial Service allowing you to file a number of forms. Select `View/Change Company Details` from the menu. Here you can select or input the company name and number for which you would like to file changes for. A report page will show details we already hold for the company and to change them you need to select the `edit this section` link to make changes.

Despite having worked on the weekend to clear some of the backlog of incorporations Companies House currently have approximately 4000 incorporations in the queues, which their examiners are working on.
