What is a Certificate of Incumbency?
A Certificate of Incumbency is a certificate that is created by the Registered Agent of the company. The certificate confirms that the company is in Good Standing and that as far as the Registered Agents knowledge, no action is being taken to wind up the affairs of the company. The certificate will also confirm basic information about the company.
The Certificate of Incumbency is not an official document, if you require an official document we can obtain a Certificate of Good Standing from Companies House.

The following information will be displayed on your Certificate of Incumbency:

• Place Registered
• Date of Incorporation
• Confirmation that the Company is in Good Standing
• Registered Office Address
• Directors Names
• Shareholders Names
• Secretaries Names
• Date Confirmation Statement (Annual Return) due
• Date Annual Accounts due
• Signature of Registered Agent

How long does it take to obtain a Certificate of Incumbency?
Before obtaining a Certificate of Incumbency, we will be required to carry out a number of checks to ensure that the company is in Good Standing with Companies House.
If the company is in Good Standing we will proceed to obtain the Certificate of Incumbency, and this will be issued within 1 working day.
If the company is not in Good Standing we can assist you getting the company back into Good Standing.
