What is a Sensitive Word / Name?
In company names some words are classed as sensitive, by Companies House and restrictions may apply. Consequently, Companies House will not register or change the name of a company if the name contains one of these words. However, some sensitive words will be allowed if the company registration is supported by a letter of justification.

How do we submit the approval to Companies House?
When you are applying to register your new company on our website, you have an option to add additional information which will enable you to upload the justification letter that we have obtained for you.
This will then be sent to Companies House along with the incorporation application for them to register your company.
