If you need to confirm that your company is active and in good standing, or provide company details to a bank, client, business partner, or other third party, you may be asked to provide a Certificate of Incumbency.

Issued by CFS Formations as the formation agent, the certificate confirms that the company is in Good Standing, that there are no known proceedings to wind up the company and provides basic company information.

A Certificate of Incumbency is not an official Companies House document. If you require official confirmation of your company’s status, we can obtain a Certificate of Good Standing from Companies House on your behalf.

We will check that the company is in Good Standing before issuing the certificate, which is normally provided within 1 working day. If any issues are identified, we can assist in resolving them.

For offshore companies, the registered agent can provide the Certificate of Incumbency.
