Why Form a Company in Sweden
A Swedish Aktiebolag (AB) is equivalent to a Limited Liability Company in the UK. The legal entity is separate from the individuals who run it. For sole traders and partnerships, the individual’s personal assets are at risk if there is a claim against the organisation. However, shareholders in an AB company are only liable for the value of the share capital to which they subscribe. Only one Director and Shareholder are required for a Sweden Company Registration. The Director and Shareholder can be there same person, therefore it is beneficial to anyone looking at starting a business on their own.
Sweden is recognised as the 14th best country in the world to conduct business. Therefore, it is a respected country to form a company.
A Sweden Company Formation can be an easy and simple process. There is no visit required as everything can be carried out remotely, therefore reducing time and travel costs. Company details are completed online and the name is usually checked and approved within 48 hours. Original documents such as passports for Due Diligence are not required. We only require certified copies of the original documents.
